    What Is the Process?:

Designing: We spend several months designing and sampling each product in-house here in California. All initial sewing patterns, samples, and designs are crafted at this step.

Fabric/Material Sourcing: After designing our sewing patterns, we work with our partners in Xiamen, Fujian, to source the specific fabric and materials we are looking for. This includes details such as waterproof zipper customizations and dipped pull tabs.

Production Sampling: After reviewing with our team and our partners, we begin the process of making the final production samples. These samples include every detail that would be present in the final version of the garment. This step can take 20-45 days as we strive to perfect the final garment.

Manufacturing: For production, our team manufactures each made-to-order unit in a specialized facility for manufacturing snow and sport fishing gear. The production time can take up to 60 days depending on the complexity of the garment. Throughout this phase, we hold multiple virtual meetings to meticulously inspect the process, maintaining constant communication to ensure quality and precision.

Shipping: We inspect, pack, and ship each unit by hand in California. You can expect shipping within US to be 1-3 days, and international to be 2-5 days. International shipping duties are billed to customer.

    Why Pre-Order?:

At this time, we believe the most sustainable option is made-to-order, ensuring that we avoid overproducing at all costs. We prioritize the meticulous crafting of high-quality, enduring garments tailored to your order, as opposed to engaging in the mass production of merchandise.

    What Is the Fabric Composition?:

40D nylon mechanical elastic + PTFE two-component + 15D floating yarn plaid. The fabric is multi-layered with an internal grid membrane allowing for high waterproofing without sacrificing breathability.

    Why Xiamen?:

Previously, none of our manufacturers could source the correct fabric or materials. When attempting to produce some of our complex designs, they resorted to shortcuts by hiring subcontractors, leading to an unwanted disconnect between us and the manufacturing process. After attempting collaboration with numerous manufacturers in Los Angeles and New York, we were directed to our current partners.

Our partners in Xiamen specialize in crafting waterproof snow and sport fishing gear, providing not only access to the advanced materials and machines we need, but also valuable expertise in the construction of performance mountain gear. We deeply appreciate our knowledgeable team, whose robust expertise and craftsmanship play an essential role in our company.
